A Memorial Service for Trent C. Bazey of Roseau, MN will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11:00AM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Stephen City Cemetery in Stephen, MN.
Trent Bazey, age 60, of Roseau, MN, passed away on November 12, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
Trent was born in Karlstad, Minnesota, and later moved to Roseau, where he built a life centered on family, hard work, and simple joys. He was married to his devoted wife, Donna Bazey, with whom he shared many wonderful years filled with love and laughter. Together they raised their daughter, Tori, who was the pride of Trent’s life.
For many years, Trent worked at Marvin Windows, where he was known for his dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic.
Outside of work, Trent found happiness in the little things that meant the most to him—spending time with his family, watching his daughter in sports, golfing with friends, and enjoying every moment with his grandsons. His sense of humor, kindness, and easygoing spirit made him someone everyone enjoyed being around.
Trent is survived by his wife, Donna Bazey; daughter, Tori (Brandon) Newhouse; and grandchildren, Gavin, Mason, Kegan, and Grady Newhouse. He is also survived by his mother, Ingrid Bazey; brother, Todd (Kathy) Bazey; sister, Kathy (Charlie) Labine; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Bazey; brother, Troy Bazey; nephew, Aaron Bazey; and father- and mother-in-law, Victor and Margaret Kasprowicz.
Those who knew and loved Trent will remember him for his kindness, generosity, and the deep love he had for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.
