Gloria Jean Millsop was born on June 19, 1947 to Colin and Mae Meeker of Warroad, Minnesota, where she grew up with 4 siblings: Alvin, Clarence, Freddie and Shirley. She attended and graduated from Warroad High School in 1965.
She attended college In Thief River Falls, MN where she met the love of her life, Stephen Millsop. They married in June 1967 at the Warroad Union Congregation Church, later moving to Brainerd, then returning to Warroad to raise their family of 5 children: Jeffery, Stephenie, Rebecca, Reginald, and Renee. Gloria had 15 grandchilden and 8 great grandchildren.
Gloria worked for Marvin Windows and Doors for many years, and later was employed at Polaris Industries until she retired. Gloria enjoyed the outdoors – deer hunting and fishing. She enjoyed visiting family and friends. One of her closest friends was Elaine. Gloria liked playing cards, cribbage, and poker, and loved Bingo. She enjoyed making beautiful crochet blankets and giving them to family and friends. She was a huge Elvis Presley fan, of course, and also Dolly Parton, Oak Ridge Boys, and Alabama. She was an active member of the Warroad Eagles Club, where she served as President. Gloria had many friends. She will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents Colin and Mae Meeker, husband Stephen Millsop, son Jeffery Millsop, grandson Matthew Millsop, grandson-in-law Max Pfeifer and great-granddaughter Elizabella.
Gloria is survived by daughters, Stephenie Millsop, Rebecca Millsop & family, Renee Langton & family; son Reginald Millsop; her siblings, Alvin Meeker & family, Clarence Meeker & family, Freddie Meeker & family, and Shirley Maxon; grandchildren, Ashley, Chase, Caily, Candise, Kaitlyn, Kale, Michael, Tiffany, Mitchel, Samatha, Tyler, Teah, Teagen, Tiara; and great-grandchildren Caydinse, Alora, Wyatt, Mae, Brecken, Konnar, and Bently.
Interment will be al Riverside cemetery, Warroad, MN.
