THE ROSEAU PUBLIC LIBRARY HOSTS A DONUTS WITH DAD EVENT FROM 11-NOON ON SATURDAY.

THE ROSEAU WOMEN OF TODAY PUT ON A FATHER-DAUGHTER PROM ON SUNDAY.

THIS SATURDAY IS A FREE STATE PARKS DAY WHERE YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE A PERMIT TO VISIT THOSE PARKS.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR JOYCE ELIZABETH BEITO TAYLOR OF GREENBUSH WILL BE HELD THIS SATRUDAY AT 11 AM AT OUR SAVIOUR’S THIEF LAKE CHURCH. VISITATION WILL BE HELD AT THE CHURCH TOMORROW EVENING AT 6 PM, WITH A 7:00 PRAYER SERVICE AND A MUSICAL TRIBUTE TO FOLLOW. THERE WILL ALSO BE VISITATION AN HOUR PRIOR ON SATURDAY. INTERMENT SERVICES WIILL BE HELD AT GREENWOOD CEMETERY IN STRATHCONA AT A LATER DATE.

A Funeral Service for Richard E. Otto of Badger, MN will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 2:00PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Badger City Cemetery in Badger, MN.
Richard passed away at the age of 87.

PEAK TICK SEASON IS NEARLY UPON US, ALTHOUGH EXPERTS SAY THAT THE TICK SEASON NEVER REALLY ENDED, AS WITH THE MILD WINTER THEY WERE SEEING REPORTS OF TICK BITES IN DECEMBER AND JANUARY. CASES OF LYME DISEASE SKYROCKETED IN 2022, BUT THEY DO SAY THAT COULD BE DUE IN PART TO HOW CASES ARE REPORTED NOW, NOT BECAUSE TICK POPULATIONS ARE NECESSARILY ANY HIGHER.
