WARROAD BEAT BEMIDJI 8-0.

TOMORROW’S GIRLS HOCKEY SECTION SEMIFINAL BETWEEN ROSEAU AND ALEXANDRIA HAS BEEN MOVED UP AN HOUR. THAT GAME WILL NOW BEGIN AT 6 PM AT THE RAMS SPORTS CENTER.

BOTH SECTION 8A GIRLS HOCKEY GAMES FROM LAST NIGHT WERE NON-COMPETITIVE. EAST GRAND FORKS BEAT DETROIT LAKES 8-0, THEY’LL MEET WARROAD NEXT.
THIEF RIVER FALLS BEAT INTERNATIONAL FALLS 7-0, THEY’LL NEXT MEET CROOKSTON.

KITTSON COUNTY CENTRAL BEAT WIN E MAC 53-34.
SACRED HEART BEAT STEPHEN-ARGYLE 71-52.
BGMR HANDLED THEIR BUSINESS AGAINST A STRUGGLING WARROAD TEAM, 77-12.

BOYS BASKETBALL:
WARREN BLEW PAST KITTSON CENTRAL 77-37.
WARROAD GOT 22 POINTS FROM GAGE THOMPSON AND 13 MORE FROM LIAM GROVER IN A 68-46 WIN OVER BGMR.
NORTHERN FREEZE BEAT CLEARBROOK GONVICK 80-49.

THE MINNESOTA WILD PUT ON PERHAPS THEIR WORST PERFORMANCE OF THE YEAR IN A 5-1 LOSS AT HOME TO VEGAS.

VIKINGS WIDE RECEIVER JUSTIN JEFFERSON WAS AWARDED OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR, AND ALSO WON MOMENT OF THE YEAR FOR HIS MIRACULOUS RECEPTION ON A 4TH DOWN THAT HELPED MINNESOTA’S LATE RALLY TO BEAT BUFFALO.
