Tia Myrtle Muller (Hoppe), 26, of Chisholm, MN, left this world all too soon on Saturday, August 16th, 2025. She was born in Roseau, MN, on August 12th, 1999, to Delbert and Alice (Arbuckle) Hoppe. Tia grew up in Roseau and graduated from high school there. Tia was active in her church going on several missions’ trips, she participated in 4H and went to State numerous times. Tia was also an active volunteer in the community of Roseau helping at the Roseau Food Shelf and Scrap Happy. On Halloween of 2022, she met her future husband Johnathan Muller. They instantly connected and became best friends and were united in marriage on June 7th, 2025, at the Triumphant Life Church in Bovey, MN. Tia enjoyed crocheting, doing jigsaw puzzles and diamond art painting. She loved spending time outdoors with Johnathan and together they loved camping, fishing, tubing, snowmobiling and 4 wheeling. Tia gave herself fully into everything she did and helping others was her driving goal. She worked at the Roseau Community School, Marvin’s, Kiddy Karousel Daycare in Hibbing and the Hibbing Homeless Shelter. Tia was an Emergency Medical Responder with the Cherry Volunteer Fire Department and was looking forward to helping more people in the future. Kind, gentle and caring, Tia will be forever missed.
Tia is survived by her husband, Johnathan, parents Delbert and Alice, sister Courtney Gentry, In-laws Lance Muller, Debra and Eric Johnson, her sister and brother’s-in-law, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
A Memorial Service will be held for Tia on September 27, 2025 at 1PM at the First Baptist Church in Roseau, MN.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking you to bring non-perishable food items or donations to the Roseau Food Shelf in honor or Tia’s commitment to community service.
