Roseau County has 122 Positive Cases; with 5 new cases reported today; 25 ACTIVE Cases; 97 having recovered (out of isolation).
The World Health Organization says that a 14-day positive test rate of below 5 percent is the key to keeping businesses open.
Sunday’s update includes 1,318 new positive tests for the coronavirus, 22 of which have been removed for an official count of 1,296 cases. Those positives are the result of 12,080 people tested, creating a 24-hour reporting period test positivity rate of 10.7%.
The positive test rate is lower from the perspective when the number of individuals producing positive tests (1,296) divided by total completed tests (22,553). In that case, the positivity rate is 5.7%.
The “tests completed” number is always higher than the “people tested” metric because some people get tested multiple times and those who test positive are only counted once, so it produces a less accurate positivity rate.
Statewide:
- Total tests: 1,838,392 (up from 1,815,774 )
- People tested: 1,303,475 (up from 1,291,395)
- Positive cases: 90,017 (up from 88,721)
- Deaths: 1,965 (up from 1,963)
- Currently hospitalized: 248 (up from 241)
- Patients in intensive care: 123 (down from 134)
- Patients no longer requiring isolation: 81,336 (up from 80,407)
