A Memorial Service for Linda M. Forst of Denver, CO will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Faith Lutheran Church, rural Badger, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Linda Michelle Forst (67) of Denver, Colorado, gained her wings on October 1st, 2025. She was born on May 24th, 1958 in Roseau, Minnesota, to Dennis and Carol (Bjerk) Forst.

Linda was baptized at Klondike Church of Benwood and later confirmed at Faith Lutheran Church in rural Badger. She spent her early childhood in Shelly, Minnesota, while her father worked for a local farmer, before returning to the family farm at age five. She attended Grass Lake Country School until it closed and graduated from Greenbush High School in 1976.

After high school, Linda moved to Thief River Falls and attended AVTI, studying fashion merchandising while working locally. She later relocated to Fargo, North Dakota, where she worked for several years in the admitting department at St. John’s Hospital. In 1998, she embraced a new adventure and moved to Colorado, where she worked for AT&T and Comcast until her retirement.

Linda was always known to be creative, caring, and generous. As the oldest sibling, Linda naturally took on a nurturing and guiding role with her brothers and sisters. Whether it was drawing, sewing, cooking, or playing games, Linda found joy in including her siblings in every adventure. She loved swimming in the local gravel pits with her brothers and playing house or school with her sisters. She was a loving babysitter not only to her brothers and sisters but also to many neighborhood children. Linda valued her family and always loved surprising them with thoughtful gifts. Linda’s warmth, humor, and generosity made her not only a loving sister and family member but also a cherished friend to those around her. Linda will be remembered for her kind heart, her giving spirit, and the happiness she found in caring for others.

Linda is survived by her mother, Carol Forst; sister Karen (Chet) Castle and their children Trent (Renae) Castle, Travis Castle and his son Jaxon, and Tyler (Ashley) Castle; brother Danny (Debbie) Forst and their children Kody (Whitley) Forst and their children Hadley, Kolter, and Ledger, Davis (Vanessa) Forst, and Gabe (Melissa) Carlson; sister Connie Bishop and her children Shanyce (Kory) Stickler and Dayton Bishop and his son Jennings; brother Dean (Deanna) Forst and their children Baily (Rachel) Forst , Max Forst, and Alecia Forst; brother Doug Forst and his son Skyler (Carly) Forst; brother Dale (Kara) Forst and their children Trevor Forst and Karley (Grant) Stewart and their son Karsen; as well as her Aunts; Bev (Joe) Swanson and Terrye (Jerry) Succo; Uncle Morris Lundquist and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Forst; infant sister, Peggy; great-niece, Payton Forst; grandparents Arvid and Eleanor Bjerk; Arthur and Rose Forst (later married to Clifford Bjerk); and many aunts and uncles.

Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered as a strong, independent woman with a generous heart, a steadfast faith in God, and a life defined by kindness.
