OCTOBER MARKED 13 STRAIGHT MONTHS OF JOB GROWTH IN MINNESOTA, AS A LITTLE OVER 17,000 JOBS WERE CREATED. OVER THE PAST 12 MONTHS, JOB GROWTH IN THE STATE IS AT 3.6 PERCENT, OUTPACING THE NATIONWIDE RATE OF 3.4 PERCENT.

THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE FOUR SEASONS SENIOR CENTER WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY AT 10 AM. THEY’LL DISCUSS BUSINESS FROM THE PAST YEAR AND LOOK TO WHAT IS IN STORE FOR 2023. ALL MEMBERS ARE URGED TO ATTEND.

THE NUMBERS ARE IN, AND THE MINNESOTA STATEWIDE DEER HARVEST WAS DOWN 11% FROM LAST YEAR, AND 17% BELOW A FIVE YEAR AVERAGE. ITS THE LOWEST NUMBERS SINCE 2014.

THE MINNESOTA NURSES ASSOCIATION WILL VOTE ON NOVEMBER 30TH TO POSSIBLY AUTHORIZE ANOTHER STRIKE. THEY HAD PREVIOUSLY GONE ON A THREE-DAY STRIKE BACK IN SEPTEMBER, BUT IT HAS NOT LED TO PROGRESS IN THEIR CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS. THE ROUGHLY 15,000 NURSES COME MOSTLY FROM HOSPITALS IN THE TWIN PORTS AND TWIN CITIES.
