THIS TUESDAY NIGHT, WILD 102 WILL HAVE ELECTION NIGHT COVERAGE AS WE TRACK THE RESULTS IN REAL TIME, COMING IN FOR ALL LOCAL RACES AND KEY RACES ACROSS THE STATE. ELECTION COVERAGE IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY SECURITY STATE INSURANCE AGENCY, POLARIS, BORDER BANK, NORTHSTAR APARTMENTS, LEE PLUMBING AND HEATING, CITIZENS STATE BANK, SJOBERGS CABLE TV AND SUPER ONE FOODS.

A ROSEAU VETERANS DAY PROGRAM WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 14 AT 2:00 IN THE ROSEAU HIGH SCHOOL GYM. WE WILL LOOK TO BRING YOU BROADCAST OF THAT PROGRAM.

THE WARROAD SCHOOL DISTRICT HAS AN OPERATIVNG LEVY ON THE BALLOT TOMORROW, LOOKING TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF FUNDING PER PUPIL. THERE ARE STATE DOLLARS WTHAT WOULD ACCOMPANY THE LOCAL SHARE.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR SHARON WOOD OF WARROAD WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY (11 AM) AT ASSEMBLY OF GOD IN WARROAD, WITH VISITATION AN HOUR PRIOR. INTERMENT WILL BE HELD AT PINE HILL CEMETERY IN WILLIAMS.

A FUNERAL SERVICE FOR DONALD MCKAY OF BAUDETTE WILL TAKE PLACE SATURDAY (10:30 AM) AT SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH IN BAUDETTE, WITH VISITATION AN HOUR PRIOR. THERE WILL ALSO BE VISITATION ON FRIDAY (5-7 PM) AT THE CHURCH. INTERMENT WILL BE HELD AT ELM PARK CEMETERY IN BAUDETTE.

SEASONAL SERVICES TO ORLANDO AND PHOENIX HAVE RESUMED OUT OF GRAND FORKS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. THOSE ARE OFFERED BY ALLEGIANT AIR AND OFFER FLIGHTS ROUGHLY TWICE PER WEEK.

THE APPLICATION WINDOW FOR A HOMESTEAD CREDIT IS NOW OPEN, WITH THE DEADLINE BEING DECEMBER 31. THAT IS FOR THOSE WHO OWN OR OCCUPY A RESIDENCE THAT THEY DID NOT AS OF JANUARY 2 OF THIS YEAR, OR IF YOU OCCUPY A RESIDENCE OWNED BY A RELATIVE. AFTER WINTER, A MAJOR PROJECT ON HIGHWAY ELEVEN IN ROSEAU COUNTY AND THE CITY OF WARROAD WILL BEGIN CONSTRUCTION. THAT PROJECT WILL LOOK TO PUT ROUNDABOUTS WHERE HIGHWAY ELEVEN MEETS HIGHWAY 313 AND AT THE INTERSECTION WITH LAKE STREET. THEY WILL ALSO BE ADDING TURN LANES, SIDEWALKS, AND RECONSTRUCTING THE BRIDGE OVER THE WARROAD RIVER.

GOVERNOR WALZ TOOK PART IN THE GOVERNOR’S DEER HUNTING OPENER EVENT ON SATURDAY. HE JOINED WHAT WILL BE ROUGHLY 400,000 MINNESOTANS THAT TAKE PART IN DEER HUNTING OVER THE SPAN OF THE SEASON. HE ACKNOWLEDGED THE TRADITION, BUT ALSO HOW HUNTING IS A BIG BOOST TO MINNESOTA’S ECONOMY.
