Marvin “Feen” Joseph of Warroad passed away on January 23rd, 2021 at the age of 75.
Feen was born in White Earth on May 11th, 1946 to Richard and Francis (Bellanger) Shaugabay. He worked at Marvin’s for many years and retired as the Security Supervisor after 20 years. On December 23th, 1985 Feen married Mary Kay Rindy in Roseau, MN.
Feen loved his grandchildren and watch them play different sports. He was a hockey dad and football and hockey grandpa. Feen loved to gamble and travel to different casinos.
Feen was preceded in death by his son, Robert Monnell; daughter, Lisa Shaugabay; father and mother, Richard and Francis; sisters, Margaret and Evonne; brothers, Richard and William (Bill); brother in laws, Rodney Hamlin and Larry Lane.
Feen is survived by his wife, Mary Kay Shaugabay of Warroad, MN; son, Eric (Suzi) Shaugabay of Warroad; grandchildren, Gage, Jori, and Anders Shaugabay of Warroad; grandson, Adam (Abigal) Shaugabay of Grand Forks, ND; granddaughter Amanda Molash of Warroad; brother, Don Shaugabay of Warroad, Zeb Shaugabay of White Earth; sister Chris Hamlin of Warroad; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Memorial service for Marvin “Feen” J. Shaugabay of Warroad, MN will be held on Friday, January 28, at the Warroad Community Church in Warroad at 2:00 p.m. There will be a visitation held on Thursday, January 27, from 5-7 p.m. at Helgeson Funeral Home in Warroad, MN.
