THIEF RIVER FALLS AND EAST GRAND FORKS PLAYED TO A 2-2 TIE.

COLLEGE HOOPS:
WISCONSIN WON BOTH GAMES OF A BORDER BATTLE WITH MINNESOTA. THE BADGER MEN WON IN MINNESOTA 61-59, THE WOMEN WON BACK IN MADISON 59-56.

NHL:
THE MINNESOTA WILD HAVE MADE IT THREE STRAIGHT WIN, BEATING WASHINGTON 5-3 LAST NIGHT.

MLB:

CAREER-LONG TWIN, AND MINNESOTA NATIVE, JOE MAUER WAS ELECTED TO THE BASEBALL HALL OF FAME ON HIS YEAR ON THE BALLOT. ADRIAN BELTRE AND TODD HELTON JOIN HIM AS MEMBERS OF THAT CLASS.
