NOW IS THE TIME TO APPLY FOR A HOMESTEAD CLASSIFICATION FOR MOBILE HOMES, WHICH COULD SAVE YOU MONEY ON PROPERTY TAXES. IF YOU NOW OWN AND OCCUPY A MOBILE HOME THAT YOU DID NOT OCCUPY ON JANUARY 2ND OF THIS YEAR, OR IF YOU OCCUPY A MOBILE HOME OWNED BY A RELATIVE, CONTACT THE ROSEAU COUNTY ASSESSOR’S OFFICE. TO QUALIFY, THAT MOBILE HOME MUST BE OCCUPIED BY THE OWNER OR RELATIVE BY MAY 29TH.

TOMORROW IS THE PRIMARY ELECTION IN THE SPECIAL ELECTION IN THE RUN FOR A COUNTY COMMISSIONER IN DISTRICT 4. ON THE BALLOT ARE BRETT CREGER, KYLE COLE, RICK JENSON, KERMIT JENSEN, GERALD LANDBY, TIM PALMQUIST, AND MIKE TESAREK.

THE ROSEAU COUNTY MUSEUM WELCOMES ROSS SUTTER, PRESENTING HIS NEW PROGRAM, “FAMILY HEIRLOOMS”, MAY 16TH AT THE CITY CENTER. THE PROGRAM BEGINS AT 6:30, WITH A ROAST BEEF DINNER BEING SERVED AT 5:30, THAT’S WITH A $20 SUGGESTED DONATION. QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PROGRAM, CALL 218-463-1918.

THE ROSEAU PIONEER FARM WILL HAVE IT’S GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION FOR THE SEASON ON SATURDAY, MAY 13, FEATURING A PANCAKE BREAKFAST FROM 7:00-11:00. FREEWILL DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED TO HELP WITH OPERATIONS OF THE FARM.

THE ROSEAU HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR CONCERT IS WEDNESDAY EVENING, AND GRADES 1-3 IN THE ROSEAU ELEMENTARY HAVE THEIR SPRING CONCERT ON THURSDAY AT BOTH 10 AM AND 2 PM.

IT’S ONCE AGAIN TIME TO NOMINATE SENIOR CITIZENS FOR THEIR VOLUNTEER WORK AND POSSIBLY WIN THE OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEER AWARD FOR ROSEAU COUNTY, AND THEN IN THE RUNNING FOR A STATEWIDE AWARD. A FUNERAL SERVICE FOR MEMORIE TOFT WILL BE HELD TOMORROW (10 AM) AT PINE GROVE LUTHERAN CHURCH IN ROSEAU, WITH VISITATION AN HOUR PRIOR. INTERMENT WILL BE HELD AT PINE GROVE CEMETERY.
