A GRAND FORKS MAN WAS ARRESTED AT RIVER CINEMA IN EAST GRAND FORKS ON SATURDAY NIGHT AFTER AN ALLEGED SEXUAL ASSAULT IN THE WOMAN’S BATHROOM. 37-YEAR OLD JASON NOYES IS FACING CHARGES AFTER THE VICTIM SAYS SHE EXITED THE STALL TO FIND HIM IN THE BATHROOM WITH HIS PANTS DOWN, AND SAYING HE HAD A KNIFE AND ATTEMPTING TO GRAB HER WRIST. SECURITY FOOTAGE WAS ABLE TO CATCH IMAGES OF NOYES AND OTHERS SAW HIM FLEE THE THEATRE ON BIKE.

THE ROSEAU COMMUNITY SCHOOL IS HOSTING AN OPEN HOUSE AND ICE CREAM SOCIAL NEXT WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 31, FROM 5:00-7:30 FOR A CHANCE TO EXPLORE THE SCHOOL AND VISIT WITH TEACHERS.

A FUNERAL SERVICE FOR MARYANN VISTAD OF ROSEAU WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY (1 PM) AT HELGESON FUNERAL HOME IN ROSEAU. VISITATION WILL BE HELD ONE HOUR PRIOR AND INTERMENT WILL BE AT NORLAND CEMETERY IN SALOL. MARYANN WAS 84.
