ROSEAU RAMS GIRLS TENNIS OPENED THEIR SEASON OVER THE WEEKEND IN MOORHEAD AND IN PARK RAPIDS. THEY WILL BE IN ACTION AGAIN TOMORROW IN CROOKSTON, TO PLAY EAST GRAND FORKS.
ROSEAU VOLLEYBALL OPENS A WEEK FROM TOMORROW, AND FOOTBALL A WEEK FROM THURSDAY.

THE VIKINGS OFFENSE LOOKED MUCH MORE INEPT DURING PRESEASON GAME #2 WITH SAN FRANCISCO, WHERE THEY FELL BY A FINAL SCORE OF 17-7. KIRK COUSINS ONCE AGAIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE TO PLAY AT ALL, AND STARTERS AT MANY OTHER POSITIONS DID NOT TOUCH THE FIELD. KELLEN MOND, AFTER A DECENT SHOWING IN GAME 1, WAS ONLY 10 OF 20 FOR 82 YARDS AND TWO INTERCEPTIONS. SEAN MANNION WAS 10 OF 15 FOR 65 YARDS. RUNNINGBACK TY CHANDLER PUNCHED IN THE ONLY SCORE OF THE GAME.

THE TWINS BULLPEN LET THINGS GET OUT OF HAND LATE, BUT THE OFFENSE COULDN’T MUSTER ANYTHING IN A 7-0 LOSS TO THE TEXAS RANGERS. MINNESOTA LOST TWO OF THREE TO TEXAS ON TEH WEEKEND, IN A RARE SERIES THAT WILL ALSO WRAP AROUND FOR ONE FINAL GAME TODAY.

CLEVELAND AND CHICAGO WERE LOCKED UP IN A PIVOTAL WEEKEND SERIES, BUT SAW THEIR SUNDAY GAME POSTPONED BY RAIN.
